RRB ALP & Technician exam is conducted in four sages, First Stage CBT, Second Stage CBT, Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) and Document Verification. Find the important facts about the stages below:
This computer-based test is the first stage of RRB ALP & Technician exam, this test is qualifying in nature
The paper contains 75 objective type questions (MCQs) and total time given to complete the paper is 60 minutes
Each question carries 1 mark, hence, total mark of the paper is 75
There is negative marking for incorrect answers, ⅓ mark will be deducted for one wrong answer
Those who secure cut off marks in first stage CBT, get a call for second stage CBT
This is the second stage of the exam, which has two parts – part A and Part B
Part A will have 100 questions and total time is 90 minutes
Part B will have 75 questions and the duration of the paper is 60 minutes
There is negative marking for incorrect answers, ⅓ mark will be deducted for one wrong answer
This stage is only for those candidates who have applied for assistant loco pilot posts
Question papers are made available in both English and Hindi
There are five test batters, candidates need to score certain marks in each test battery to qualify the exam
Candidates who clear all the stages, are called for document verification by the respective RRBs
Candidates need to carry the original documents asked by RRBs on the day of document verification
If any candidate fails to submit original documents or if any document is found fake, the candidature of that candidate will be canceled
The final RRB ALP result will be published after document verification on the zonal RRBs websites. PDF containing names of the successful candidates will be published. The final merit list will be prepared after combining marks of stage two and Computer-Based Aptitude Test. In case of technicians, scores obtained in the second stage CBT will be taken into consideration.
