INOX Oxygen Plant inaugurated in Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated on October 8, 2020 a new cryogenic oxygen plant that has been commissioned by INOX Air Products (INOX AP). This is  the biggest plant in the state and will help to supply oxygens in hospitals.

 

  • This is the ultra-high purity air separation plant.
  • It has a capacity of 150 tonnes per days (TPD).
  • The plant has increased the state’s liquid oxygen manufacturing capacity from 115 metric tonnes to 265 metric tonnes per day.
  • It has been inaugurated in  Ghaziabad”s Modinagar.
  • The plant will produce liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen and liquid argon.

This facility would help the state to fight the coronavirus better. The plant will complete the demand and need of medical oxygen. It will also boost the state’s industrial growth by supplying the industrial gases. This plant also signifies state’s commitment to bring in investment.

This plant is a part of a memorandum of understanding that were signed between INOX Air Products (INOX AP) and the UP government during the ”Investors Summit 2018”. The foundation stone for the project was laid on July 29, 2018 by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
