RRB Group D 2020 Eligibility criteria - RRB Group D 2020 Eligibility criteria


The eligibility criteria of RRB Group D as per nationality, educational qualification, and age limit are given below. Only those candidates will be selected for the recruitment process who fulfills the eligibility criteria. At the time of document verification, the examination authority will verify the certificates given in support of the eligibility. In case there are any anomalies in terms of eligibility, candidates will be rejected from the recruitment process.

Nationality

A candidate must be either:

(A) A citizen of India, or

(B) A subject of Nepal, or

(C) A subject of Bhutan, or

(D) Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

(E) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that the Government of India had issued eligibility certificate to candidates belonging to (b), (c), (d), and (e)

Age Limit

Candidates should be between 18 to 33 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates who had completed Class 10 from Institution recognized by NCVT/SCVT or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT were eligible to apply. 
  • ITI was made non-mandatory for Group D recruitment
